TheAlbanyJuniorHigh track and field team members return to competition Friday, March 22 after taking this week off for spring break. After competing in meets at Anson and Cross Plains to start the season, the Cubs and Lady Cubs will attend the Clyde Relays to start the second half of the schedule.

Albany High’s one-act play cast and crew presented their production of “Oz” at district competition in Haskell last week, and while failing to advance to the bi-district round, several members of the cast and crew did receive recognition. Junior Landon Balliew was named to the All-Star Cast for the district for his role as the Lion.

The Ragin’ Red Band completed the biennial spring trip on Sunday, returning from Branson, Missouri after performing at the Titanic Museum, attending a musical show, andspendingadayatSilver Dollar City. “The trip went very smoothly, and the kids all had a blast,” director William Vaughan said.
