No new tests for -COVID-19 were reported over the last week in Shackelford County, with the total holding at 28 negative tests.

My street, South 1st, which runs in front of Albany High School, is usually very quiet in the summer time. 

Well…not this past week.

It does seem like you see signs everywhere these days. A lot of these quotes are on T shirts. I have a Sign Wall in my den. Some of the signs are spiritual and some are just for fun.  


I know that all parents and grandparents have heard “that question” from your kids and grandkids a million times. I know I have.

Patsy Key, age 84 of Albany, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020. Graveside funeral services were held Monday, May 4 at Albany Cemetery with Pastor Paul Johnston officiating.

Wanda Lorena Hogan, 80, of Albany died Wednesday, April 22, 2020 in an Abilene hospital. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
