Exhibitors from the 2024 Shackelford County Youth and Livestock Show have until Tuesday, April 2 to fulfill their obligations.

Showparticipantsmust have completed writing thank you notes to buyers andmeetotherobligations. Finished notes must be placed in a stamped, addressed envelope ready for mailing. Notes must be verified by Albany FFA advisor Chris Beard or Shackelford County extension agent Kelsey Bell.

FFA and 4-H members who sold animals have received their lists of buyers.

All outstanding balances owed to the Shackelford Youth and Livestock Association, Albany FFA or Shackelford County 4-H must be paid. Also, any students who fed animals at the FFAbarn must clean their pens. Failure to satisfy either requirement by April 2 will result in checks being withheld.

Stock show checks will be distributed at a time, date, and place to be announced.

The Shackelford Youth andLivestockAssociation’s annual meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 9 at the Ag Building.
