Cynthia Ann Alexander Wade, 61, of Moran passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022. A memorial service was held Wednesday, Feb. 9 at the Moran Community Center.

Carroll Wayne Hogan Sr., age 89, went to his heavenly home Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022. Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 9, followed by graveside service at Murray Cemetery in Carbon, Texas. A complete obituary will be published next week.

John Wallace Palm, 86, of Sheridan, Wyoming passed away on Friday, Feb. 4, 2022. A graveside service is set for 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15 in Albany, Texas, with a reception following at Matthews Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Sue Peacock, age 81 of Albany, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 10 at the Albany Cemetery with Rev. Dannie Lee officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Sue Hollen Peacock was born June 17, 1940 in Gorman, Texas to her parents Samuel Joseph Fonville and Katherine Thurman Fonville. Sue grew up in Breckenridge, Texas.

Antone Bernstein, age 90 of Albany, passed away Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 1 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Tom Chandler officiating. Interment followed in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Antone Benjamin Bernstein was born Sept. 7, 1931 in Shackelford County, Texas to Paul Oswald Bernstein and Olga Ziehr. He grew up in Shackelford County and later graduated from Albany High School. He married Betty Fay Dodd in Breckenridge on April 1, 1961.

Joye “Loraine” Edgar, age 77 of Sweetwater, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022. A memorial service was held Friday, Jan. 28 at the Albany Cemetery with Pastor Luke Spraberry officiating. Services have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.

Joye Loraine Fancher was born Nov. 16, 1944, in Rotan, Texas to Donald Earl “Man” Fancher and Richard “Kate” Coan Fancher. She married William Cecil “Sonny” Edgar on July 4, 1965.

Bart “Randy” Hobbs, age 72 of Albany, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022. Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 29 at Albany Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Pleasant officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Bart “Randy” Hobbs was born May 24, 1949 in Olney, Texas to Bart T. Hobbs and Tressie Florene Byrd Hobbs. He graduated high school and later enlisted in the United States Army. He served until he was honorably discharged in 1971.

Judith Dorine Wood, 80, of Albany passed away peacefully Jan. 23, 2022 in Anson surrounded by her loving family. Judy was born May 24, 1941 in Benton, IL to parents George Leonard “Cocky” and Joan Wood. The family moved to Texas when she was five years old, and she often said “she got to Texas as quick as she could!”

Claude Lanier Campbell of San Angelo passed away on Jan. 18, 2022, at the age of 82.

He was born on March 30, 1939, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Mervyn “Mutt” Campbell and Pauline (Winters) Campbell. Raised in South Texas, he graduated from Calallen High School in 1957, where he was a sports star, participating in basketball, baseball, and golf, achieving state-level honors in the latter.

Monte Lewis, age 41 of Albany passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, Jan. 17 at Bethel Assembly with Pastor Luke Spraberry and Darrel Conway officiating. Interment followed at Elmwood Memorial Park in Abilene under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
