Marvin James Schkade passed away peacefully on May 22, 2021 at the age of 83 in Forney, Texas.  He was born on Nov. 22, 1937 to Bernharde Herman Schkade and Alma Marie Handrick Schkade in Albany, Texas. He graduated from High School in Albany Tx.

William Alvice Parrish of Moran, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021, a week shy of his 91st birthday.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 29 at First Baptist Church in Moran with Bro. Larry Briley and Bro. John Tunnell officiating.

Billie Ann Edgar Glenn, age 88, of Albany passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Weatherford, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 12 at Albany Cemetery. Billie Ann Edgar Glenn was born May 21, 1932 in Jacksboro, Texas to parents W.T. and Olishie Edgar.

Billie Glenn died Sunday, May 16, 2021. Graveside services are tentatively set June 12 at Albany Ceme­tery. More details will be available later.

Judge George P. Kazen, respected jurist, outstanding contributor to the community, loving father, grandfather, and friend died on April 27, 2021. He died peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family. Judge Kazen was the grandchild of Lebanese immigrants.

Jeanette Holson, age 99 of Albany, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 20 in the Albany Cemetery with Pastor Paul Johnston officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Alma Rae (Bear) Law Cleveland, 91, of Albany died Friday, Apr. 30, 2021 in an Abilene hospice facility. Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 4, at the Albany Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Alma was born Dec. 12, 1929 in Ibex to James and Ila (Bowman) Law.

Nelda Charleen Davis was born on Dec. 17, 1946 to Charles and Aileen Davis in Baird, Texas. She went to school in Putnam, Texas where she played basketball and was a cheerleader.  While in school, she met and fell in love with L.C. Donaway. They were married on Aug. 12, 1966 in Putnam.

Max Davis, age 69, Albany native and longtime Alto, New Mexico resident died in the evening, Saturday, April 24, 2021, surrounded by his family.

Don Stutsman, age 72 of Moran, passed away Friday, Mar. 12, 2021. Graveside funeral services with full military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Mar. 20 at the Moran Cemetery Pavilion with Bro. Larry Briley officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
