Julian Winifred Jones, age 56 of Albany, Texas passed away Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21 at Bethel Assembly in Albany, officiated by longtime pastor and friend Alan Youngblood. Julian Jones was born July 5, 1963 in Dumas, Texas.

A blood drive is scheduled to take place in Albany this afternoon, Sept. 12, and Hendrick Regional Blood Center (formerly Meek Blood Center) will park its bloodmobile at First Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
