Local churches plan Easter services

MMPC youth minister Spencer Newsom covers a local student’s head with shaving cream during a game at last week’s Junior High Worship Night at the Feed Store. Students were treated to dinner, with a devotional and fun packed into the evening.

New tour option planned

Softball Field Day set

By Sandy Morris The Albany Girls Softball Association is ready to kick off the season and will hold a ‘Field Day’ at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13 at Webb Park on the Albany softball field.  Registration Jacey Shack, president of AGSA, said registration has been extended through Saturday.

Crawfish Boil slated Apr. 15

By Sandy Morris The annual Chamber Membership Drive Crawfish Boil has been scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 15.  The boil will be held at the Golf Course and is intended as an appreciation event for current Chamber members, as well as an opportunity to join the Chamber.
