Plans underway at Feed Store

By Sidney Bartee Plans are underway at the Feed Store for the upcoming school year. The Feed Store will first be handing out “goodie bags” during registration for secondary school students on Aug. 2 and 3. The organization will also hand out “goodies” at the staff lunch.

VBS ends with program

By Sidney Bartee The Albany Ministerial Alliance sponsored Vacation Bible School began this summer’s “Destination Dig” on Sunday, July 25 and wrapped up the program on Wednesday, July 28.  The Wednesday night program included a “Family Night,” hot dog supper, and swimming.

Community VBS set July 25-28

Mission team returns from Del Rio

By Jillian Lucas Nine members from the First Baptist Church returned from their annual mission trip in Del Rio this past week. The team left June 27 and returned July 1. Albany FBC mission groups have worked with a program called River Ministry in Del Rio for many years.

Organ concerts set at MMPC

Youth camp fundraiser set June 6

By Sandy Morris Members of the First Baptist Church of Albany will host a “Mexican Pile-On” fundraiser on Sunday, June 6. The meal will be held in the FBC Fellowship Hall immediately following the Sunday worship service that morning, according to Julie Miller, who is helping to organize the event.

FBC plans outdoor service May 23
