The Ministerial Alliance will host students for the after-game fellowship following the Albany Lions’ homecoming football game this Friday, Oct. 16. The “Fifth Quarter” event will be held at The Feed Store directly after the Ranger game. The fellowship will end at 10:30 p.m.

Albany picks up win over Clyde

By Donnie A. Lucas The JV Lion football team picked up a commanding 56-12 win over a visiting JV team from Clyde last Thursday to improve to 5-0 for the season. The Lions will travel to Ranger this week to play a Stephenville JV squad since Ranger does not have a JV this season.

Tires, household trash to be collected

By Lynsi Musselman The City of Moran is planning to hold a household trash collection event and a free tire and trash disposal event on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the old rodeo grounds, 900 Ground Street in Moran. Moran city secretary Teresa King said this is for Moran and Albany residents only.
