Truck show rescheduled Oct. 13

The third annual Shifters Car Club Truck Show will take place on Saturday, Oct. 13, and truck fanciers are welcome to enter a 1987 or older vehicle and compete for prizes, or to walk through the trucks exhibited in downtown Albany for the event and take a stroll down memory lane.

Hundreds expected at fort’s Living History Days

Over 450 area elementary and middle school students and teachers are already signed up to attend Living History Days at Fort Griffin State Historic Site on Friday, Oct. 12 to visit the fort and interact with about 100 reenactors portraying day-to-day life in the real Old West.
