Youth minister starts at C of C

Members of the Albany Church of Christ recently hired Troy Wade as their new youth minister, and they are optimistic about his future. Wade was hired in April, and he is currently a graduate student at Abilene Christian University, where he is working towards his master’s degree in New Testament.

Quilts needed for June 21-29 show

Quilt owners are encouraged to lend one or more of the works of art in their collection to the Albany Study Club for their annual quilt show at the Whitney Theatre so everyone can admire the fabric treasures during the Fandangle season.

Children from kindergarten to eighth grade are invited to attend Vacation Bible School at the First Baptist Church in Moran next week, according to organizer Jo Hise. Jesus, food, and games will be provided at the “Into the Wilderness” VBS.
