The Moran Lady Bulldogs basketball team took on Rising Star and May last week in District 131A play, with the Bulldogs opening their district schedule against May. Moran played a district doubleheader on Tuesday, Jan.

Nine Moran FFA students competed in various events this week at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. The Moran contingent earned four ribbons in the ag mechanics contest.

The annual Weekend of Champions leadership camps at Eastland’s Solid Rock Camp are coming up soon. Separate boys and girls camps serving students from eighth through 12th grades will be held on consecutive weekends.
