Albany’s Adam Hill was named Most Valuable Player on the All-District 10-2A boys basketball team as the Lions and Lady Lions combined to have 14 athletes earn mention. The teams were selected by votes of district coaches and released after all playoff qualifiers had been eliminated.

Four Albany pitchers combined on a five-inning no-hitter Tuesday, Feb. 27 as the Lions opened their baseball season with a 17-0 victory against Colorado City at the Clyde field.
