Lucy Karen Clement passed away suddenly Monday, Oct. 15, 2018 in Harlingen, Texas. She was 77 years old. Karen was born in Albany, Texas to J.T. “Tom” and Dovie “ Dub” Garrett Feb. 16, 1941. She married Jack Clement on Sept. 4, 1959 in Albany, Texas.

Margie Driskill Davis, 89, joined her Heavenly Father at 9:45 p.m., on Nov. 10, 2018, in Glen Rose, Texas. Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life of 89 years, Nov. 13, 2018, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.

Larry Shoemaker, Sr., age 87 of Albany, passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2018. Funeral services were held  Saturday, Nov. 10 at First Baptist Church of Albany with Pastor Paul Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in the Albany Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

The Honorable Quay Frederick Parker, Esquire, received his summons from the Great I Am in the early morning hours of Oct. 20, 2018. He was welcomed to Beulah Land by his parents, Fred and Lyna Jewel, brother-in-law Steve Wood, and son-in-law Brian Wilson.

Bobby Gene Adkins went to be with our Lord and Savior on the morning of Monday, Oct. 29, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Albany with Rev. Jeff Turner officiating. Services have been entrusted to Morehart Mortuary.

Bette Irene Salters Stone, 89, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 in Bowie. Family received friends on Tuesday evening, Oct. 30, 2018 at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Norma Oliver Miles, age 78 of Abilene, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2018. A memorial service was held Monday, Oct. 29 in the pavilion at the Albany Cemetery with Chaplain Jim Hargrove officiating. Services were entrusted to Morehart Mortuary of Albany.

Former Albany resident and pastor Donald Earl Wirsdorfer Jr. passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, at the age of 83.  The celebration of life service will be Saturday, Nov. 3, at 11:00 a.m. at Ridglea Christian Church, 6720 Elizabeth Lane, Fort Worth, Texas.

John David Molyneaux, Albany High School class of 1988, passed away on Sept. 21, 2018 in Albuquerque NM. John was born on Sept. 26, 1970 in Carlsbad, NM, to Jacque and Lynda Molyneaux.

Grant Derwood Robinson age 66 of Moran, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior Oct. 15, 2018.Funeral service was Saturday, Oct. 20, at Gunsight Baptist Church officiated by Reverend Rex Boggs. Internment was at Johnson Cemetery north of Moran, Texas with Masonic Gravesite Rites.
