By Kathy Thomson Albany High School seniors Tyler Beard and Jaleigh Morales were crowned 2019 Homecoming King and Queen during halftime ceremonies last Friday night during the Lions’ 41-0 win over the visiting Peaster before a large homecoming crowd.

Siren test set Oct. 9

The City of Albany will test the emergency warning siren at 12:00 noon next Wednesday, Oct. 9, as it does the second Wednesday of every month, depending on the weather.
