Auddrena Lee West Larance Smith, 95, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Providence Hospital in Waco, Texas. Funeral services were Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019 at Albany Church of Christ in Albany, Texas.

Perry Duff Simmons, 54, of Azle, passed away on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019 in Weatherford.  Funeral services cele-brating Perry’s life were held Monday, Aug. 5, 2019, at the Springtown United Methodist Church in Springtown, Texas. Burial followed at the Veal Station Cemetery.

James Monroe Lawrence, age 85, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2019 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene, Texas. Monroe requested that there not be a funeral service since he donated his body to medical research.

Brawner Reed, age 82 of Albany, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019. A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27 at Friendship Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Johnston officiating.

Kelsy Baker, age 26 of Meridian, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 22, 2019 at her residence surrounded by family. Funeral services were Friday, July 26, at the Clifton Church of Christ in Clifton, Texas. Pastor Steve Countryman officiated.

Patty Carlile, age 90 of Albany, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 23 at First Baptist Church of Albany with Rev. Jeff Turner and Kyle Viertel officiating. Interment followed in the Albany Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.

Jerry Donavan Dodson of Fort Worth, TX passed away peacefully on Father’s Day, June 16, 2019 in the presence of those who loved him the most. Services will be held at The Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211 on July 19 at 1:30 p.m.

Thomas Scott Holland, age 78, passed away June 24, 2019 at Eastland Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 26, at the Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel in Cisco, Texas, with Lance Thomas officiating.

Dorothy Smith, age 71 of Alvin, Texas passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in Webster, Texas.  Dorothy was born on Aug. 21, 1947 in Knox City, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for 50 years. She was a homemaker and was Baptist by faith.

Andanté Jones Harris, age 36 of Granbury, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019. Funeral services were held Monday, June 3 at Bethel Assembly in Albany with Rev. Martin Young officiating. Interment followed in the Albany Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
