JOHN MOLYNEAUX

John David Molyneaux, Albany High School class of 1988, passed away on Sept. 21, 2018 in Albuquerque NM. John was born on Sept. 26, 1970 in Carlsbad, NM, to Jacque and Lynda Molyneaux.  

He is survived by his mother, Lynda Molyneaux of Tijeras, NM, two sisters, Amy McDaniel of Tijeras, NM, and Randi Alexander of Albany, two nieces, Nicole Sioux Navarro of Las Cruces, NM and Emma Kate Harvey of Tijeras, NM, and two sons, Samuel K. Molyneaux and Lucas W. Molyneaux of Odessa, TX.  

GRANT ROBINSON

Grant Derwood Robinson age 66 of Moran, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior Oct. 15, 2018.Funeral service was Saturday, Oct. 20, at Gunsight Baptist Church officiated by Reverend Rex Boggs. Internment was at Johnson Cemetery north of Moran, Texas with Masonic Gravesite Rites. 

Milton Waldrep

Everett Milton Waldrep (Uncle Miltie), age 78, of Moran, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Borger, Texas, on July 20, 1940, to Henry Everett (Hank) Waldrep and Clara (Bradford) Waldrep. He married Leatha Faye (Davis) Waldrep on Sept 24, 1960. He later married Joy (Lawler) Waldrep on June 16, 1980. 

A Memorial Party was held on Oct. 13, 2018, at Gunsight Baptist Church. Interment will be private at a later date.

ERICK LAKEY

Erick Thomas Lakey, 26, of Albany, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018. Funeral services were Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at the Bailey-Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Clyde. 

Erick was born Sept. 9, 1992, in Abilene to Cheryl Fowler and Rick Lakey. Erick was a fun, big hearted, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. His sense of humor and larger than life attitude, smile and warmth brightened everyone around him. 

ROBERT HOWE

Robert Gayle Howe, 66 of Clyde, TX, affectionately known to all as Bobby, passed away on Sunday Sept. 9, 2018 along with his son Daniel Justin Howe in a motor vehicle accident.

Bobby was born in Blanket, TX on Sept. 15, 1951 to James Edward and Doris Bonita Petross. He graduated in the Class of 1970 from Clyde High School.

DANIEL HOWE

Daniel Justin Howe, 34 of Clyde, TX, passed away on Sunday Sept. 9, 2018 along with his father Robert Gayle Howe in a motor vehicle accident.

Daniel graduated in the Class of 2003 from Clyde High School, and continued his education at Texas A&M Galveston and Cisco Junior College.

To provide for his family, Daniel worked hard in the oil fields or alongside his dad. No matter what the job was, it was always outdoors, and he was never afraid to get his hands dirty.

ERNEST (BUDDY) FINCHER

Lt. Col. (ret.) Ernest Dayle “Buddy” Fincher, 85, of Albany, a native and former County Judge of Shackelford County and a veteran of the United States Air Force died on Sept. 5, 2018. After a valiant two month battle with cancer, Buddy Fincher went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in Jesus Christ supported him in his journey and gave him great peace.

BILLIE SUE OFFIELD

Billie Sue Latimer Offield, of Breckenridge and formerly of Albany, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2018. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept.15, at Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home, 415 W. Williams, Breckenridge, TX 76424. Interment will follow the service in Albany, Texas.

Billie Sue was the second of five children born to Luther and Della Latimer, their only daughter. The Latimer family moved often in the oilfield business, mostly within Texas. 

Donna Funderburg

Donna Funderburg, age 70 of Albany, passed away Monday, Sept. 10, 2018. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 13 at Bethany Baptist Church in Breckenridge, Texas with Rev. Andy Rodgers officiating. Interment will follow in the Moran Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation was from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Morehart Mortuary in Breckenridge. 

Jane Burroughs

Jane Elizabeth Burroughs, 86, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018 of complications arising from a long battle with vascular dementia. 

Jane was born at home on Jan. 29, 1932 in Moran, Texas to Fletcher and Etoile Bratton as the first of three daughters. Jane attended school in Moran, Texas. She married Luther Duane Latimer early in life and proceeded to have five children. Jane and L.D. owned the “Kermit Drive-In” restaurant for several years before they divorced, and she relocated to Odessa with their children in the mid 60s.
