Always... Patsy Cline performances set in August

The musical Always...Patsy Cline was first performed on a stage in Texas in 1988, and in honor of the show’s 30th anniversary, a local cast will present four performances of the show at the Aztec Theater this August. Show dates are Friday, Aug. 10 and 17, and Saturday, Aug. 18 at 7:30 p.m.

July sales tax rebate up slightly

The city of Albany will receive a sales tax allotment of $39,028 from the state this July. The amount is up 0.61 percent from the $38,789 payment received in July of 2017. Payments to date for the 2018 year to the city of Albany are $295,514, down by 1.
