Moran Bible School slated next week

Children from four years old to sixth grade are invited to grab their megaphones, lace up their cleats, tune up their instruments and come “gear up for life’s big game” at the First Baptist Church of Moran sponsored Vacation Bible School Game On! taking place next week, July 30 through Aug. 3.

“We will learn about how Jesus brings joy in our life,” said organizer Jo Hise. “We will serve a hot meal, play games, and create fun crafts.”

VBS will start at 6:00 p.m. each evening and end at 8:30 p.m.

“We will end the week with a tailgate party on Friday at 7:00 p.m.,” Hise said. “Come join the fun!”

Daily lessons will include: Jesus Cares About Me, Jesus Gives Me Hope, Jesus Helps Me Believe, Jesus Loves Me, and Jesus Gives Me Joy.

Hise will continue the Game On! theme the following week at a lunch time Bible study for sixth through 12th grade students, also held at the First Baptist Church in Moran.

“We will serve a hot lunch at 12:00, and have Bible study,” she said. “It will be a little bit different than the VBS.”

The VBS and the Bible study are free.
