AISD staff to start next week

By Sidney Bartee The Albany ISD teachers, staff, and school board will attend a district luncheon on Tuesday, Aug. 10 at 12:00 p.m. in the Nancy Smith cafeteria. In the morning, staff members will go to their separate campuses before meeting together at noon for the meal.

Orientation time planned

Band plans Community Night

Community garage sale set

Siren to sound on Wednesday

By Sidney Bartee The City of Albany will test the emergency warning siren at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, Aug. 11, as it does the second Wednesday of every month, depending on the weather.
