Park to host photo workshop
Fort Griffin State Historic Site will host a Milky Way photography workshop Friday-Saturday, April 5-6. Lynn Cromer will instruct participants on how to best take photos of the night sky and the Milky Way.

City starts work clearing 42 acres
Preliminary plans for a new housing development are currently being made by the City of Albany and its Economic DevelopmentCorporation,with a total of 42 acres being cleared by city employees, according to city manager Billy Holson.
Trustees lean toward traditional week

Moran ISD stays with 4-day week
TheMoranIndependent School District board voted unanimously at its Monday, March 18 meeting to adopt the proposed school calendar for the 2024-25 school year. The district will adopt a four-day week for the third year in a row.
