There was no place like home Friday, Sept. 13 for the Albany Lions in their football home opener at Robert Nail Memorial Stadium.

Branson Beal ran for three touchdowns and a swarming Lion defense allowed zero net yards in the second half as Albany pulled away for a 35-7 victory over the Seymour Panthers.

“Our mood’s way better,” Beal said. “We enjoy winning more than losing.”
