Rachel Breanne Jones, 40, of Albany left for her heavenly home October 4, 2026, surrounded by her mother, daughter, her sister and brother by choice Gilberto. Breanne found peace from a long health battle as Destiny’s Child “Say My Name” played in the background.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM, Friday, October 16, 2026 at Bethel Assembly with Reverend Paul Johnson officiating. A friends and family luncheon will be held following the service.

Born February 3, 1986 Breanne was a lifelong resident of Albany, Texas where she competed and excelled in competition choir. She graduated from AHS in 2004. Growing up in Albany, Breanne formed many deep and long lasting friendships because of her radiant personality, her unconditional and uncompromising love for others, especially her friends! Her self-confidence and love of life were imparted to her friends as a unique gift to each.

Following her graduation from high school, Breanne attended Cosmetology School and practiced her craft until she began attending TSTC where she graduated with an associate degree. She utilized her beauty talents to benefit her clients for over 10 years.

Bre also possessed a “perfect pitched” voice that she shared on many occasions, most notably in the Fort Griffin Fandangle singing “Texas.” She joined her mother on stage at the age of 3. A magnanimous personality, a brilliant smile, and the voice of a songbird entertained former First Lady’s, Governors, Congressmen and audiences of thousands as she was showcased for many years in Texas oldest outdoor musical.

While she had a penchant for colorful fashion and a love of beautiful flowers, Breanne was most known for the biggest, brightest, most radiant smile and unconditional love of her family and friends. That commitment of love to her family and friends was the “special “ part of Breanne! She was an active member of AZE Chapter in Albany beginning in 2014.

People may forget what Bre said, or forget what she did, but her friends and family will never forget how she made them feel. All who knew her experienced how she made each one feel special, distinctive, unique, appreciated, valued and most of all loved.

The centerpiece of Breanne’s life was her daughter Vivalee Green. She is also survived by her dear mother Michelle Alexander, her sister Casady Davaos and husband  Gilberto who was Bre’s brother by choice, and her sister Anna Alexander.

Breanne is also survived by her grandmother (Nana) Betty Jones, Uncles Carl Morgan and wife Sherry, Alan Jones and wife Shari. Aunts Diane Sheffield, Angela Jones, and Jeanie Morgan and Ron.

She was preceded in death by her Papaw Pete Jones, Poppy Walter Morgan, Granny Faith Morgan, Aunt Mandy Morgan, and cousin Landon Meadows.

Earthly life…. like beautiful fragile flowers….. quickly loses their beauty….. only to bloom in the everlasting spring of Heaven.

In honor of Breanne’s love for beauty and color,  the family requests that those attending the funeral services wear lime green, pink, or tiffany blue or other colorful attire.
