No Chamber lunch Friday

Before weather forecasts changed many of the weekend’s activities, members of the Albany Chamber of Commerce had planned to support the Kiwanis Club’s Charity K golf fundraiser on Friday by eating at Fajita Fiesta benefit at the Albany Golf Course.

Now that the meal and tournament have been moved to Oct. 15 because of rain concerns,  Chamber manager Mary Beth Jones said Tuesday that it was too late for the restaurant to order food needed for this week’s Chamber lunch.

“We will pick up again as usual next week on Oct. 8 at the Beehive,” she said.
