Gary P. Nunn returns this weekend

The Albany Live 2025 concert series continues this week with a highly anticipated performance by Texas music legend Gary P. Nunn. Set for January 25 at the Aztec Theater, the show promises an exciting evening of live music featuring one of the most celebrated names in Texas country.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with the concert kicking off at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are still available and can be purchased online or at the door. Early arrival is recommended to secure a good seat and enjoy the pre-show atmosphere.
Nunn’s return to Albany follows his successful performance in November 2023. Known for hits like “London Homesick Blues” and “What I Like About Texas,” Nunn has been a cornerstone of Texas music for decades, bringing a mix of heartfelt lyrics and lively performances to audiences across the state.

After this weekend’s concert, the Albany Live series will continue with a variety of notable performances through the first half of 2025:
Silverada (formerly Mike & The Moonpies) will take the stage on February 15. Known for their modern spin on traditional country sounds, the band has earned a dedicated following with hits like “Steak Night at the Prairie Rose.”
The Bellamy Brothers, famous for their classic country hits including “Let Your Love Flow” and “If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body,” will perform on March 22, bringing decades of experience and timeless music to Albany.
Neal McCoy, celebrated for his energetic performances and chart-toppers like “Wink” and “The Shake,” is set to perform on April 5. McCoy’s blend of charisma and talent makes him a fan favorite wherever he goes.
The season will conclude with Dale Watson and His Lone Stars on June 7. Watson, a leading figure in the Ameripolitan music movement, delivers authentic honky-tonk sounds with crowd-pleasers like “I Lie When I Drink.”
