Albany water plant supervisor Michael Graham said this week that weather conditions have prevented city workers from spraying for mosquitoes so far this season. “Humidity and temperature levels must change before spraying begins,” Graham said.

The annual quilt show sponsored by the Albany Study Club is coming up soon. Quilts need to be taken to the Shackelford County Library so that they can be sorted and prepared for display at the Whitney Theatre during Fandangle, the last two weekends in June.
