16 athletes advance to regionals

By Donnie A. Lucas Albany tracksters returned for a second day of events at the area track meet last Wednesday, qualifying in hurdling and relays for the regional meet set for Friday and Saturday at Springtown. Some field events involving local athletes will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Tennis dates moved up

MHS athletes qualify for regional

By Sandy Morris The Moran varsity track team members competed in the area track meet on Tuesday, April 13 at Hermleigh High School and will be sending seven members to the regional meet. Varsity Boys Results Corey Miller won third  place in the 400 meter dash and advanced to the regional meet.

Mom’s Meals available in county

By Sandy Morris Shackelford County residents who have not previously been eligible for local home delivery meal service now have an option available to them. Mom’s Meals is a monthly food delivery service offered through the Area Agency on Aging courtesy of the CARES grant.
