NSES Jingle Run a holiday hit

More than 200 Nancy Smith Elementary School students participated Wednesday, Dec. 11, in the school’s inaugural Jingle Run with dozens of turkeys handed out to families in the community.

The Albany Lady Lions made their first appearance in District 10-2A basketball competition last week, dropping a home game to Hawley in their only action.The Lady Lions had the district bye Tuesday, Dec. 17, and return to action at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21.

Lady Lions work to strengthen their game

The Albany Lady Lions enjoyed their best outing of the season last week in their final tuneup before district play. Albany (3-11) opened the District 10-2A schedule Tuesday, Dec.
