JV Lions edge Stamford in overtime

The JV Lions improved to 2-0 with a 40- 38 overtime win against Stamford on Dec. 21.

“We played well enough to get the win in overtime,” coach Rod Britting said. “We still have a lot to learn, but starting district with a win is always good.”

The JV played Haskell in the second district game of the season on Tuesday, but results were not available at press time..
