Seventy-six-year-old Steve Sanders of Albany was killed in a fiery crash shortly before 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb.

Only two of the six local entities located within the county will hold elections on May 4, with the other four entities either already cancelling or planning to cancel elections because there were no contested races. The filing period for each of the local races ended Friday, Feb.

The annual membership meeting of the Albany ChamberofCommerce is scheduled for the Friday, Feb. 16 luncheon at the Icehouse Restaurant starting at 12:00 noon.
