County fire dept. starts fundraising campaign

The Shackelford County Rural Volunteer Fire Department is soliciting donations to help cover operating costs for the department. A fundraising letter was recently mailed out seeking donations to help buy supplies, equipment and provide upkeep on equipment as well as help finance the department’s efforts to keep properties inShackelfordCountysafe from unwelcome fires and disasters.
