The usual Chamber of Commerce luncheon held each Friday at the Icehouse is moving this week to the Albany Golf Course where Chamber members will join the Albany Kiwanis Club members for a fajita lunch held as part of atournamenttraditionally held during AHS homecoming week. All Chamber members or members of the public are invited to attend. The cost of the meal is $15.
Area residents have the chance to celebrate the founding of Shackelford County a century and a half ago this weekend with a variety of events on tap.
