Study reveals micro-stress impact

Texans spend 10 hours per week ‘micro-stressing’ about everyday anxieties, reveals a recent study.

Leading psychologists say micro-stressing can have a significant neurological impact. Fifty-eight percent of workers struggle to switch off when they arrive home each day.

We’ve all been there; we’re about to rush out to work but somehow our keys have gone missing from the fruit bowl we left them in, or we get halfway to the coffee shop when suddenly there’s a flash of doubt as to whether we turned our straighteners off before leaving the house.

You, me & everyday life

I’ll Take the Oldies

I remember when my family bought their first TV (black and white of course).

It was so exciting to watch. We were limited then on channels, and it took a very funny metal thing placed on the roof to make it work.

One of my favorite shows on Friday and Saturday nights was “Command Performance.” It came on after the news report.

Most of these movies were made in the 30s & 40s. They would be comedy, drama, mystery, and romance. You learned to love all those stars.
