State monument installed

The fourth monument honoring Albany’s state championship football teams has been installed atMonumentParkoutside Robert Nail Memorial Stadium, completing the first upgrade to the facility. Monuments honoring Albany’s 1960, 1961 and 2022 teams were joined by one for the 2023 team.
Davy Vestal polishes and puts some final touches on the 2023 state champion monument that was installed last week. School officials hope to schedule a dedication later in the year.
