Lady Lions building momentum before district

The Albany Lady Lions hosted Class 4A Snyder on Tuesday, Sept. 9, and despite falling in four sets, head coach MJ Reneau said the match offered valuable experience for her team as they prepare for district play.

“I’m taking nothing but positivity away from tonight,” Reneau said. “Snyder challenged us in areas we haven’t been challenged yet—fast middle hits, tough serves. We were missing one of our starters due to illness, and some of our JV girls stepped up and did a tremendous job.”

“Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live…” Deuteronomy 30:19

For those of us who believe the Bible is God’s word there is no doubt human life is the pinnacle and the most important part of His creation. Not only are we fashioned as human beings in the image of God, but every individual is also His unique creation. “Your eyes saw my unformed substance,” “you knitted me together in my mother’s womb,” “I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139)
