Pick-up dates for the December distribution of the commodity food program is set for Dec. 7 and 8.

More than $400 was raised Saturday, Nov. 25 for the local Toys for Tots campaign during Small Town Saturday activities, with applications due this week.

Contributions for the Albany Ministerial Alliance Christmas Program are currently being sought to cover the costs of providing for county families. Some changes were made by the Alliance this year, and families or individuals shouldapplyforassistance by attending the Dec.

A total of 55 applications have been submitted for the Believe Tree for Teenscampaign,according to The Feed Store director Tisha Wilkins. The program provides gifts for junior high and high school students in Shackelford County each year.
