MMPC serves 130 Christmas meals

By Melinda L. Lucas

Approximately 130 meals were served by volunteers from Matthews Memorial Presbyterian Church and the rest of the community as part of the annual MMPC Christmas Feast.

The total was a slight increase over the 125 or so meals served the year before.

The meals were only offered on a carry-out basis with everything either delivered or picked up.

As in past years, meals were delivered to Vittles by Vehicles recipients, first responders, and others working on Christmas Day, with 100 deliveries and 30 pickups.
