Food dare stirs up surprising response

A pair of varsity Lion football players have gotten a surprising response to a challenge site they started on Instagram, earning over $700 so far for a very good cause. Senior Tyler Chapman and junior Landon Balliew saw a video on social media of someone eating something they termed as an entertaining but disgusting dare.

While doing some research in the records room of the county clerk’s office, O’Connor stumbled across an old ledger entitled “Discharges 2.” Even though her research that particular day had nothing to do with veterans, her curiosity led her to investigate.
