Students at Moran ISD have one more week to complete EOC requirements as the summerschoolprogram nears its end. Principal Jo Hise said students had a two-week window that began Monday, June 17 to complete requirements.

The Shackelford house, intended specifically for patients and families from Shackelford County, is one of 20 in the Houses for Healing complex now ready for occupancy near the Hendrick North hospital in Abilene. An open house is planned on Saturday, June 29.

Closet Angels to open June 24

Closet Angels will open two more times in June before closing for the month of July. In addition to the regular hours on Monday, June 24, director Lori Reames announced the ministry will be open 10:00 a.m.
