Frontier fun. With Albany principal John Gallagher looking on (above, c) a Living History participant (above, l) hands out wooden rifles to a line-up of students so they learn first-hand about military drills. Some of the younger reenactors (at left) show their skills at jump roping during Friday morning’s School Day at Fort Griffin. Visitors found that hoops and toss games are still fun today.
