Winners named at Oct. 14 event

The foursome of Randy Walker, James Waters, Charles Barrett, and Rodney Barton scored a one-shot victory last Friday in the 14th annual John Rose & Jim Law Memorial Albany Kiwanis Charity Golf Tournament.

The tournament raises funds for the Albany K Charity Scholarship Fund and other local projects.

The winning team carded an 18-hole total of 58. The team of Justin Noble, Chris Gay, Derrick Hughes, and Tyler Driskill finished second with a 59.

The third-place team of Tristan Cauble, Matt Hargett, Chris Hobbs, and Tyler Morgan also shot 59.

Closest to the pin were Ronnie Anderson on No. 5 and Barrett on No. 6.

Long drive winners were Walker on No. 4 and Hargett on No. 9.
