State Championship MVPs

Senior running back Adam Hill (at left, c) is handed the Offensive MVP award by UIL representatives at the end of Albany’s state championship win over Mart last week. Hill recorded three touchdowns while running for 132 yards on 24 carries and receiving a 2-yard pass for a TD.

Zane Waggoner (at right, c), also a senior, earned the MVP for his defensive stats during the state final. He finished with nine total tackles, including 1-1/2 sacks and two quarterback pressures, along with forcing a shanked punt.
