Several openings are available for the Albany Golf Club’s Father’s Day Tournament.

The three-person scramble will be played Saturday-Sunday, June 17-18 at Albany Golf Course. Entry fee is $300 per team, which includes one mulligan per person each day.

Tee times for the first round are 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Most available spots are in the morning flight with a few openings remaining in the afternoon. Teams will be flighted after the first round.

The field will be capped at 42 teams.

A limited number of rental carts are available.

For entry information or cart rental, contact tournament director Shawn Sutton at 325-514-3789.

The tournament is the first of the summer season for the local course. Also on the schedule are the Shackelford County Youth and Livestock Association’s three-person scramble July 22-23, and the Albany Masonic Lodge Scholarship Tournament on July 29. The Albany Golf Club’s Labor Day Tournament, a two-person scramble, is scheduled for Sept. 2-3.

Three events are scheduled for October. Scholarship fundraisers for Xi Chi Pi Sorority (Oct. 7) and the Kiwanis Club (Oct. 20) will sandwich the AGC’s Club Championship (Oct. 14-15).
