Seniors to play in FCA games
Four Albany seniors will be competing in the annual Big Country Fellowship of Christian Athletes All-Star games this weekend.
Cameron Dacus and Cutter Edgar were both selected to play in the FCA All-Star football game. Dacus and Edgar will be playing against each other, since the football teams are not determined by geography.
Dacus will be a member of the Red team, coached by Jeff Cordell of Sonora.
Edgar will play for the Blue team, coached by Ben McGehee of Sweetwater.
The FCA All-Star football game will take place June 8 at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene at 7:00 p.m.
Ryan Hill will be representing Albany in the FCA All-Star men’s basketball game, where he will be a member of the North men’s basketball team. Hill will be coached by Justin Reese of Abilene High.
The FCA All-Star basketball game will be held June 8 at 6:00 p.m. in the Brownwood Coliseum.
Joshua Dyer was selected to play in the FCA All-Star baseball game. Dyer will be a member of the North baseball team, where he will be coached by Colby Rowley of Clyde.
The FCA All-Star baseball game is on June 7 and will take place at First Community Field at Angelo State University in San Angelo. The game will start at 6:00 p.m.
Other FCA All-Star games include softball, women’s basketball, and volleyball games. Albany does not have any seniors competing in those games.
Tickets for the games will be available at each site for $5 per game. An all-game pass is also available for purchase for $18.
KTAB TV will be broadcasting the football game live. All games will be streamed on Big Country Home Page.
