Season tickets on sale for 2025 Lions football

Season tickets for the Albany Lions 2025 football season are now available through the Albany administration office with all prices being the same as last year.

Adult season tickets are $30 for five games with student packages costing $20. Returning ticket holders have the right to claim the same seats they had last season, but must do so through administrative assistant Lynsi Perry in the Albany ISD administration building. Season tickets cover only varsity home games.

Senior citizen passes are also available at the superintendent’s office.

Albany’s first home date will be Friday, Aug. 29, against Stamford. Hawley will visit Robert Nail Memorial Stadium on Sept. 5.

The next home date will be the homecoming game against Coahoma on Sept. 19, which will also be homecoming. Other home games are Oct. 17 against Winters and Senior Night on Oct. 31 against Roscoe.

Single-game varsity tickets will be $6 for adults and $4 for students. Those tickets will be sold at the gate.

For away games, fans should check each opposing school’s website for ticket information.

Tickets for junior high and junior varsity games are $4 for adults and $2 for students. Those tickets must be purchased at the gate, but are good for the entire evening as long as ticket buyers remain in the stadium.

The first Thursday game will be the junior high teams and JV against Seymour on Sept. 11.

Senior Citizen Passes

Senior citizen passes are available to anyone age 65 and older.

Perry said age is the only requirement to obtain a pass.

“You don’t have to be an Albany resident,” she said. “There have been a lot of grandparents who get passes.”

The passes are free and valid for as long as the holder retains possession. AISD officials advise passholders to contact host schools for away games to make sure the passes will be honored.

Field Access

Field access for parents will follow the same procedure as last year.

Parents are allowed on the field to form the pregame spirit line unless a host school says otherwise.

Postgame field access will be allowed for parents at home games, but they are asked to stay in the end zone areas out of respect for the visiting team.
