Pep rally set Thursday, send-off at 3:30 Friday

Tickets for Friday’s state quarterfinal football playoff against Windthorst, to be played at 7:00 p.m.  in Graham’s Newton Field, must be purchased online by going to grahamisd.org and clicking on “Tickets” or by following the link on the Albany Athletic Booster Club’s Facebook page. 

Passes will be accepted, but no tickets will be sold at the gate, according to Graham officials.

The traditional playoff drum beating, preceded by a 7:30 p.m. pep rally at the Bank Park, will kick off special activities this week as the Albany Lions prepare for the regional match-up.

There will be a send-off at the Bank Park at 3:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon. 

Albany is assigned the home side at Newton Field, with ticket prices set at $6 for everyone.

Most Albany Lion fans are familiar with Newton Field, but the address of the stadium is 400 Third Street in Graham.
