New Faith Field Bleachers Ready For Fall

Construction of the new visitor-side bleachers at Robert Nail Memorial Stadium at Faith Field reached its final stages this week as crews from Southern Bleacher Company of Graham assembled the new seating. Founded in 1946, Southern Bleacher is one of the nation’s leading stadium seating manufacturers, having installed more than three million seats over the past five years at high schools, colleges, raceways and professional sports venues across the United States and Canada.

The project follows demolition of the aging visitor bleachers earlier this spring after Albany ISD trustees approved their replacement because of safety concerns, code compliance issues and limited accessibility.

As of press time, the bleachers were expected to be completed by the time this week’s edition of The Albany News reached readers, putting the project on schedule well ahead of the start of the 2026 football season.

The new visitor seating provides updated, code-compliant accommodations for visiting fans and teams while giving Faith Field a fresh new look heading into the fall.
