Moran track teams to compete at Paint Rock

The Moran varsity track team members competed over Spring Break on Thursday, March 18 at the May Tiger Relays.

The next meet is scheduled for Friday, March 26 at Paint Rock.

Varsity Girls Results

Hannah Noble placed second in the 100 and 200 meter dash.

Alli Scott came in first in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles and second in long jump.

Dariann Hawley was third in the 800 meter run and fifth in high jump.

Johnnie Hise placed fourth in the 800 meter run, sixth in high jump, and sixth in the 200 meter dash.

Emily Murk came in  fifth  in the 400 meter dash, and Chloe Hendricks was  fourth in the 100 meter dash.

The 4 x 200 meter relay team of Noble, Scott, Hawley, and Hise earned first in the event. 

Also participating in the meet were Samantha Hinkle and Harmony Slaughter.

The girls finished second as a team in the meet. 

 Varsity Boys Results

Corey Miller was third in the 400 meter dash and fourth in the 800 meter run.

Arren Hawley, Memphis McGough, Connor Hail, and Zech Henderson also competed for the Bulldogs.

The team finished in eighth place at the meet.

Junior High Track

The Moran junior high track team members competed on Monday, March 22 at the Rising Star track meet.

The junior high district track meet is scheduled for Wednesday March 31 at Cross Plains.
