Moran High School’s varsity girls basketball team traveled to Strawn on Friday, Nov. 13.

The Lady Bulldogs came up short, losing 67-17.

According to girls head coach John Hughes, the score isn’t a true reflection of the game.

“There is definite improvement from where we were last year,” said Hughes. “We still have things to work on, but it is early.”

Hannah Rogers and Dariann Hawley were the leading scorers with six points each. Hannah Noble added three points and Alli Scott added two points to the total score.

The Lady Bulldogs were scheduled to play at Blanket on Tuesday, Nov. 17, but the game was cancelled.

The girls will be back in action on Friday, Nov. 20 at 5:00 p.m. as they travel to face Woodson.

The Moran Bulldogs will kick off their season at Woodson this Friday, Nov. 20 at 6:30 p.m.
