Every member of the Moran Lady Bulldogs earned a spot on the All-District 14-1A volleyball team.

Moran made program history this season, winning the school’s first bi-district championship in volleyball. The Lady Bulldogs finished 5-17, beating Rising Star in a district playoff for second place before downing Three Way in the playoffs.

Alli Scott was named Defensive MVP, with Emily Murk and Alyssa Allred earning first-team honors.

Kacenda Thompkins and Vivi Green were named to the second team, while Alayna Baker, LeAnna Sikes, and Jayla Bussell received honorable mention.

Scott, Murk, Allred, and Baker are seniors, Green is a junior, and Thompkins, Sikes and Bussell are freshmen.

“I’m very excited about the season we had,” Lady Bulldogs coach Jo Hise said. “We’re going to miss those four seniors, but we’re going to use this year to build the program for next season.”
