MISD track, tennis gets spring seasons started

The Moranjuniorhightrack teams competed in their first meet on Tuesday, February 27 in Breckenridge.

Results will be reported next week.

On Monday, March 4, the junior high teams run at Rising Star.

The high school schedule will start Thursday, March 7 at Rising Star. Moran will also attend the Possum Kingdom Relays at Graham on Friday, March 15 in addition to meets at May on Wednesday, March 21 and Albany on Thursday, March 29.

Tennis

Moran will have a men's doubles team and a pair of mixed doubles competing in tennis this spring.

Coach Jo Hise said the first tournament will be Thursday, March 21 with the Goldthwaite tournament later in the month. A dual meet with Baird is also planned.

The District 13-1A tournament is scheduled for Monday, April 22 at Brownwood.
